Differences - General Discussion and Off-Topic Cesspool

Post  Midnight on Tue Dec 16, 2008 4:18 pm

When you first enter the forum, you will see, along with the oters, two forums titled 'General Discussion' and 'Off-Topic Cesspool'.

These both sound the same, but there are some major differences.

General Discussion

In the General Discussion, there is no set topic. If you start a topic about Barack Obama's presidential win, that is perfectly at home here, because there is no forum titled 'Presidents' or 'Politics'. However, if someone starts a topic on somebody being a dickhead (not a teacher), that would not belong here.

There is no set topic, but the topics started mustn't be spam or flame posts.

Off-Topic Cesspool

The Off-Topic Cesspool is the home of spam. Like the General Discussion, it has no set topic, but the topics started can be spammed until they burst at the sides. You can start a topic on another site being a piece of crap, and nobody can do anything about it (Except me and the Moderators).

Keep the spam at a medium level, and no direct flaming to other members. And, as usual, trolling me or the Mods will result in a tempa-ban. affraid
